Children’s Summer Reading Program Information
Children’s Pre-school Storytime Classes
Registration encouraged, but not required.
Register by calling the Children’s librarian at 725-3714 ext. 209 or emailing to childrens@pawtucketlibrary.org.
All storytimes are held in the Children’s Library Activity Room. Storytime classes usually last between 30 to 45 minutes.

Mother Goose Story Class Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in March, April and May For ages newborn to 24 months
Parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through 24 months are invited for playful songs, rhymes and games followed by social time. Older siblings are welcome.
Mother Goose Story class will NOT be held on April 5th or May 3rd.

Toddler Story Class Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in March, April and May For ages 2 & 3 years old
Toddler Story Class is for children ages 2 and 3 with their adult caregivers. This program features stories, songs and finger rhymes. Toddler Story Class will NOT be held on Not on April 4 or May 2.

Pre-School Story Class Tuesdays at 10:30am in March, April and May For ages 3 to 5 years old
Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 years with an adult caregiver are invited to the library for stories, music, movement and other fun activities. Younger siblings are welcome. Pre-school Story class will NOT be held on April 3rd or May 1st.

Bilingual Preschool Story Hour Cuentos Bilingües para Preescolares (English and Spanish)

An evening bilingual story hour with stories, sing-along songs and crafts for ages newborn to 5 years old.
Last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Children’s Library Activity Room March 28th, April 25th and May 30th

All ages can stop by the Children’s Library to play a variety of games! Free of charge. All materials provided.

Drop-In Holiday Crafts
Children of all ages and their families are invited to make a special craft with Miss Renee in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and Mother’s Day!
Just drop-in to the Children’s Activity Room on the Saturdays below between 2:00pm and 3:30 p.m. Materials will be provided. No registration necessary.

Family Movie @ the Library
Children with their families are invited to the library auditorium for a free G or PG rated movie.
First Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm starting May 2nd!
Homework Center Is Back!
Now open on Tuesdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Open to students in grades 4 and up, the Library provides 12 laptops in a separate area for students completing homework assignments. A librarian is on hand to assist students with research and Microsoft Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel. Black & white and color printing available.
No registration needed. Located in the Library basement.
