Story Time
Mother Goose Story Class 
Mondays @10:30
Parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through 24 months are invited for playful stories, songs, and rhymes followed
by social play time. Older siblings are welcome.

Toddler Story Class
Wednesdays @ 10:30am 
Toddlers aged 2-3 years old with their adult caregivers are invited to the library auditorium for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading and fun! No registration needed. 

Preschool Story Class
Thursdays @ 10:30am 
Join us for stories, music, and a fun craft at the Pawtucket Public library. Preschoolers ages 3-5 years old with an adult caregiver are invited. Younger siblings are always welcome!

Bilingual Story Class

Spanish book
A family bilingual story class FREE for children ages 1-5 yrs old. Fun stories, simple crafts, and sing along songs in English and Spanish the whole family will enjoy. Read Me A Book Club

A new book club for for children in grades K through 2 with an adult. Let's build reading skills and have fun at the same time! Kids who sign up receive a beginning reader book to take home. We will discuss it at the meeting where they will receive a chapter book to read together with their adult at home.  Each meeting with have a game and craft as well! Registration is required. Theater Games with Festum Teatro

Children ages 6-12 with their families are invited to participate in a series of fun and engaging workshops with Festum Teatro. Join in playing some non-competitive theater games in English and Spanish.

Children's Day/Book Day

Come join us to celebrate Children's Day / Books Day. A national day celebrating children, different cultures and the importance of literacy (also known as Día). On this day, we will be sharing a story and having a fun time with our special guest Bluey. Tickets will be passed out at the door. Space is limited.

Family Movie Night

Children with their families are invited to watch a free movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem: Rated PG, runtime 1 hour 40 minutes. Kids age 10 or older may attend without a caregiver.


Hold A Chick
Thursday April 18 at 3:00pm

Come learn how chickens are raised at Casey Farm! You will learn about the life-cycle of chickens. There will also be a collection of eggs from humming bird all the way up to Ostrich! You will get to observe and touch a real live Dominique Chicken. Finally, you will be shown how to correctly hold a chick and each person will get a chick to hold! Registration is not required. 

Take & Make Kits are here! Find a new kit each month at our Take & Make table. Stop by and try our Scavenger Hunt in the Children's Library. And don't forget to make a guess at how many candies are in the jar!
