Story Time
Mother Goose Story Class 
Mondays @10:30 July 8 - August 5
Parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through 24 months are invited for playful stories, songs, and rhymes followed
by social play time. Older siblings are welcome.

Toddler Story Class
Wednesdays @ 10:30am July 10 - August 7
Toddlers aged 2-3 years old with their adult caregivers are invited to the library auditorium for stories, songs, rhymes, and a craft to share social reading and fun! No registration needed. 

Preschool Story Class
Thursdays @ 10:30am July 11 - August 8
Join us for stories, music, and a fun craft at the Pawtucket Public library. Preschoolers ages 3-5 years old with an adult caregiver are invited. Younger siblings are always welcome!

Creative Bookmark Making

Odd Squad Agent Training

Are you up for the challenge of training to be an Odd Squad Agent? Kids in grades K-5 can come and be an agent for the day as they help us solve some odd problems at the library! Kids will get to use their problem solving skills in some hands-on challenges! No registration required.

Be A Spy for the Day

Your mission should you choose to accept it: Kids ages 8-12 are invited to be a spy for the day! Take part in a 1 hour quest where you will solve 3 separate missions and take home your own spy kit! Registration is required. Register here.

Mystery Painting Workshop

Family Movie Night

Children with their families are invited to watch a free movie, MIGRATION. Rating: PG. Runtime: 1 hour 22 minutes. Kids age 10 or older may attend without a caregiver.

Sensory Friendly Story Time

Sensory friendly story time is a fun and interactive program designed for children with autism and/or sensory challenges. This inclusive program is 20 minutes and includes a story, songs, rhymes and movement. At the end of story time, there will be some sensory activities to explore. Great for caregivers looking for a small group and a sensory friendly environment. For children ages 3 to 8 year olds, but any child is welcome. Registration is recommended, but not required. *A parent or a caregiver must accompany their child. For a visual social story or to register, please email childrens@pawtucketlibrary.org

Graphic Novel Book Club

The Graphic Novel Book Club for kids will be sharing ideas and doing activities focused on the book, Timothy Dinoman Saves the Cat by Steve Thueson.  The first 10 kids to register will receive a free copy of the book.  Other copies will be available for check-out.  Join us to share your thoughts about the book, play trivia games and complete a craft.  Welcome to all children who have read the book.  This title is best for ages 9-11. Craft Your Own Spy Kit

Ready to head out on a secret mission? Looking to gather some clues to solve the mystery? First you'll need to create your own spy kit! Kids ages 6-12 are invited to come to the library to make their own spy kit. We will complete several different crafts that each child will get to take home and keep!
